Below is a breakdown of my standard rates, along with important information about payments, charges, and additional services. Standard Rates For Northamptonshire (Effective from 02/04/2024)

• Minimum Charge: The first hour is charged as a minimum, with subsequent time billed in 15-minute increments.
• Tracking: My electricians are tracked both in their vehicles and through our operating software, ensuring accurate timekeeping and the ability to quickly send the closest electrician to you in emergencies.
• Payments: Payment must be made in full upon receipt of the invoice by cash, BACS transfer, cheque, or credit/debit card.
• Parking Charges: If parking is not available outside your property, any parking charges will be billed at the local borough rates.
• Estimates & Quotations: Generally non-chargeable, though some may incur a fee depending on the nature of the work, time, and location.

Additional Information

• Fixed Prices: Fixed prices are subject to VAT and can be provided verbally or in writing upon request before work commences.
• Materials: Materials are charged at trade prices plus a 30% markup to cover travel and admin expenses, subject to VAT at the standard rate.
• Material Collection: Time spent collecting non-stock items will not exceed 45 minutes of the current hourly rate.
• Invoices: Digital invoices are provided in PDF format (hard copies available on request) and include a full description of work, times, and a breakdown of labor and materials.
• Insurance Reports: Insurance reports are charged at the standard hourly rate plus VAT and are redeemable against future work.
• Specialized Reports: EICRs, Landlord Certificates, and Homebuyers Certificates are priced according to the size of the fuse board/consumer unit.
• Portable Appliance Testing (PAT): Charged at the standard hourly rate plus VAT, with additional charges for repairs or replacements.
• Payment Options: No surcharge for credit card payments. "Use now, Pay Later" options available through Klarna, ideal for larger works or emergency services.

• If you prefer to supply your own parts, please note that I will not provide a warranty on these parts, and any necessary repairs or replacements will be charged at my standard rates.
